Pop's Skate Space

skate space project

The Project

Franklin's Paine Skatepark Fund (FPSF), the Friends of Pop's Playground, and the New Kensington Community Development Corporation (NKCDC) present this proposal for the mutli-use, skateboard-friendly public space. The Pop's Playground skate space will be a vibrant place the community can enjoy. It will feature murals and attractive architecture to transform a currently under-utilized public space and bring in a constant flow of people.

Help Make It Happen

Get on board! We need your help to raise approximately $15,000 to realize our vision, and every penny counts. We will continue to raise funds and gradually install elements of the plan until we reach completion. Contact Nick Orso ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) of FPSP to discuss how you can help make Pop's Skate Space a reality.
